"It's like my life coming full circle in a record." - Yuni Wa speaking about his new album, "You've Come So Far," arriving May 24th on Doom Trip Records.

With tracks gaining tens of millions of streams across platforms and a fanbase seeking out every release, Yuni Wa is poised to have a remarkable 2024. The versatile producer operates out of Little Rock yet his music is enjoyed worldwide, gathering ears throughout various corners of the internet such as the future funk and vaporwave communities. But despite finding a home in these retro-future worlds, Yuni Wa refuses to be bound by a single genre. Rather than following trends, he chooses his own approach, applying techniques from house, techno, RnB, and beyond.

"You've Come So Far," his 40th release, occupies a unique area of the artist's catalog. Here he combines brand new material with singles from his past, unifying the nostalgic roots of his early work with the heavier, club-adjacent sound he's been exploring recently. Given the signature style of his work, these tracks all end up flowing together seamlessly, creating a listening experience that covers a lot of territory while remaining focused in its movement.

When it comes to power, Yuni Wa's new works take full advantage of the possibilities of digital music, raising the levels to chest-thumping loudness. In deciding the best physical format for the release, this made the compact disc the obvious choice. Whether you find yourself sinking into the haze of future funk classics like "Numb" & "The Seal" or you prefer the thickness of "Resonate" and "Saturday," you'll find yourself being driven by his compositions.

First new single, "Glamour" coming April 26th. Full album release May 24th, 2024.
